Built By Tautua Outreach: A Day Of Giving

This is our very first event and we knew it had to start with service. Not just because it’s in our name, but because it’s in our heart.

Before anything else, we wanted our movement to be rooted in action. The kind that costs nothing but time, compassion, and love. That’s why our first step isn’t a launch party, it’s not a stage… it’s showing up for our houseless communities in Waianae. No cameras, no egos… just service.

We’ll be handing out hot meals, hygiene care packages, and offering haircuts, hair braiding, and face painting for the kids because dignity and joy aren’t luxuries, they’re necessities. We want every person we meet that day to feel seen… not for what they lack, but for who they are.

We chose this for our first outreach because this is who we are. Tautua means to serve quietly, to lead with humility, and to carry the legacy of those who gave before us. This event is us living that. Side by side, hands in the work, hearts open.
